From the moment we received the phone call that changed our
lives forever, we regret ever letting Cherese take this trip.
I know that Cherese herself, would never have gone if she
thought this would end her life. She had so much so wanted
to accomplish in her life. And because of her hopes and dreams
to help children, that is why we created "The Cherese
Mari Laulhere Foundation".

Cherese took a lot of pictures on her trip, and thankfully,
she is in many of them, but the pictures can't talk to us,
and I know there is much to be said about each one of them.
She also bought many beautiful souvenirs and we don't know
the story behind most of them. We have her pictures and souvenirs
displayed throughout our home and think of Cherese each time
we look at them, missing her terribly.
When I look at Cherese's pictures of her growing up and those
home video's we viewed together, I cherish every single memory,
as I try to recall as much detail as possible, even down to
her small, delicate hands, with her long slender fingers,
we often held hands and I would comment on how sweet her little
hands were.
As Cherese's mother, I'm also speaking for Larry and Todd
when I say, to have Cherese as our daughter and sister is
an honor and a privilege. She gave us 21 years of pure joy
and happiness. We were truly blessed. Cherese loved her family
very much, it was evident everyday of her life. She was grateful
and appreciative. Many times she would say how lucky she was,
then give us a big huge hug and a kiss. She also enjoyed time
spent with her grandparents and would often ask about our
family tree, the history of past family members was of great
interest to her. Cherese talked about having children of her
own and being married someday. I know she would have been
the most loving, caring, compassionate mother, if only given
the chance.
Cherese, my loving daughter, my best friend, my angel, I love
her and miss her more than I can ever put into words. She
will always be daddy's little girl, as Larry would often tell
her . And for Todd, Cherese was always there for him, if he
needed her for anything. For all of us, the loss of Cherese
is unbearable. Our hearts will never mend, and we will ache
for her forever.
She was brilliant. She was talented. She was beautiful. She
was sincere, honest and grateful. She was love. She was everything
and more. She was full of life and spirit. She was funny.
And she was happy.
It is for all the reasons just written about Cherese, that
she will always be remembered , honored and loved, and she
will make a difference in the world, and she will help children
everywhere. She has already began touching the lives of many
children and I believe her spirit has touched them too.
I hope Cherese has touched your heart. Thank you for taking
the time to read about Cherese,
"OUR BELOVED CHERESE"
