Locks of Love
Locks of love is a non-profit organization that provides
the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged
children with medical hair loss. Most of the recipients
have lost their hair due to a medical condition known as
alopecia areata, others from radiation treatments and severe
burns. These prostheses help to restore their self-esteem
and self- confidence.
One of Cherese's best friends, Sophia and her husband and
her sister, all cut their long black hair and donated it
in memory of Cherese.
Kettering Elementary School
Cherese continues to supply physical therapy toys for the
children.
Camp Del Corazon
Cherese continues to help children enjoy this special camp
just for children who suffer with heart disease. This year
after her daughter returned home from camp, one mother wrote
us a heartfelt letter thanking
Cherese for supporting Camp Del Corazon.
Discovery Arts
Cherese continues to support one of the greatest programs
for children with cancer and serious blood disorders. Discovery
Arts brings dance, music, drama and art to the children
while they are in the hospital. And now Cherese has started
the program at Children's Hospital of Orange County . Cherese
loved dancing, singing and drama, and we loved watching
and listening to her.

American Red Cross - Disaster Fund
"Cherese's Dream" written by Cherese in elementary
school, was that people do not fight over things that are
not necessary. She wanted peace in the world. Sadly, Sept.11,
2001 we are at war! Terrorists from Afghanistan high-jacked
our planes and flew them into the World Trade Center in
New York, the Pentagon in Virginia and into the ground in
Pennsylvania. This tragedy has taken thousands of innocent
lives. We hope Cherese somehow knows her gifts are making
a difference, touching lives everywhere.
