Greater Long Beach Child Guidence Center

February 2000
The Center offers 22 programs that are child-centered and family community oriented. Over 3,200 children from multi-cultural backgrounds. Over 90% live at or below the poverty line. In June another location will open, adding 45 therapists and the new "Cherese Mari Laulhere Play Therapy Room" which will include training equipment such as a two-way mirror and wireless monitors/receivers, as well as play therapy supplies and much more.

Play Room - 2002
It took a year to complete this one of a kind, state of the art therapy
room with one-way mirrors, video taping and toys. Named "CHERESE'S PLAY THERAPY ROOM" is such a success with the children and the doctors, that Cherese is now making another room just like it.
